Changes and something new!

As my "official" designing career comes to an end, I wanted to share with you what this blog is going to become! It's going to be a blog about my full time job....being a Mommy, a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt and a child care provider and everything that goes along with it!! Sooooo, that means that you will find just about anything on here.

I enjoy many things including, digital scrapbooking, making bows and headbands, taking pictures, recipes, ways to save money and other types of crafts. I also like movies, tv and books...when I have any free time!! :)

Anyway, you have gotten to know me as a digital designer, but now you will see the person behind the designs. Hope you find some stuff you like here along the way! If I make something for digital scrapbooking to make my life easier, believe me, I will share it with you! (FREE!) lol

So, right now, the holidays are quickly approaching and I have sooo many projects that I want to do! I really want to make this the best Christmas ever! I have the holiday spirit this year for sure! I'm working on making calendars for our family right now! I found these cute Wall Calendars from Shabby Miss Jenn and fell in love with them, so that is what I am using for 2010! Then I got a little email in my inbox yesterday saying that www.scrappingsimply.com will bind my calendars for FREE! How awesome is that?
But calendars aren't the only project I have been working on! I have been making these adorable little pendants!! Don't you just love them? I do! they are made of glass and scrapbook paper!! Cool, huh? But tell me honestly, is this something that you would buy? My Aunt is setting up a little store of her own (craft stuff) and wants me to contribute something. Do you think people would buy these? Please let me know!! I would appreciate any of your input! That said, would YOU want one if I had a giveaway for a pendant??

Well, back to daily life. All of the girls are down for nap except Noel, who is watching a Veggie Tales movie in the other room. Gotta finish these calendars....

Chanin I love these pendants! They are gorgeous! They are perfect for the Holidays! I especially love the blue one with the snowflake and the clear one with the stars. You should definitely sell those. And give a couple away to your faithful blog readers *hint, hint* !

Change is always good and I know you are making the right decision - as for the necklaces I think you have found yet another side project - they are really CUTE!

yes go for it --you never know what people will buy and the pendants are adorable. What type of craft stuff does your aunt do and where is she opening shop at? I live in Hillsboro and unless you have moved I know what city you live in (from a chat on GDS and not stalking!!!) I would love to come take a look if close enough

I'm glad you all like the pendants! Vicki, my Aunt actually lives in Florida, so everything would be online, but they will occasionally go to Farmer's Markets and Flea Markets to sell. Sorry!! Once she gets her site set up, I will let everyone know though!! :)

I think these are great and would be so excited if you gave one away!! How do you make them?

The pendants look wonderful! I like how with the clear ones, clothing colors would shine through, making them very, very versatile.
